In the afternoon of May 19th, Professor Chi Fulin, President of CIRD, met with H.E. Mr. Shi Zhongjun, Secretary General of the ASEAN-China Centre, during the 2024 RCEP Media & Think Tank Forum.The two sides exchanged views on strengthening ASEAN-China cooperation and exchanges, releasing the RCEP dividends, and leveraging the role of Hainan Free Trade Port in regional economic and trade cooperation.

Mr. Sun Yi, Director of the General Affairs and Coordination Division，and Ms. Wang Yan, Deputy Director of the Information and Public Relations Division, from the ASEAN-China Centre,, as well as Ms. Yang Rui, Vice President of CIRD were also there for the meeting.
