Grasping the objective trend of China's entering a new era of consumption and comprehensively promoting consumption is a major task for China to "accelerate the fostering of a double development dynamic, with the domestic economy and international engagement reinforcing each other, and the former as the mainstay", and also the key to gaining new advantages in international competition and cooperation by China. To achieve this, we need to advance the structural reform in the context of consumption-oriented transformation in a pragmatic way, and solve the structural contradictions that hinder the release of consumption potential and the upgrading of consumption structure.
